Kindermusik Laugh & Learn for Preschoolers (3-5 years)
Laugh & Learn uses songs, movement, instrument play and storytelling to stimulate your child’s joy of musical learning and discovery. Each week provides your preschooler with one uninterrupted session of imaginative, musical play that is guided in a very specific, sequential way. Musical concepts and skills needed to succeed in learning and instrument are gradually developed and reinforced. Parents and siblings join class for the final activities in a ‘sharing time’ where we offer tips and ideas for using music throughout the week. Plus, the fun (and learning!) continue with the Kindermusik@Home  digital home materials, including music from class, musical activities, and each unit theme’s story. Class Unit Themes for Term 2, 2017

Outside My Window
Look outside your window! There are raindrops to catch and snowmen to build, a rainstorm symphony to create and sunny-day games to play. Our class activities in this delightful weather-themed unit will help your child to explore rhythms and patterns, categorize sounds and highlight the musical concepts of crescendo and decrescendo – a creative environment with the perfect balance of repetition and variety to stimulate your preschooler’s inquisitive mind and strengthen neural pathways for learning.

Home Sweet Home
Where do you live? Birds in the nest and ants in the hill, every creature has a home of their own. In this engaging unit theme focusing on the home, your child will be engaged in stories, finger plays, movement activities and pretend play around everyday activities such as cooking, cleaning, building and working in the garden. Class activities will focus on singing, expressive movement, creativity, sequencing and building a sense of community. Class Story: A House is a House for Me
