dewDropsKindermusik Village: Dewdrops

An 8-week Unit for children newborn – 18 months and a parent/caregiver (Commencing Wednesday 7th October.)

Spring is a special time for you and your baby to explore outdoors with all the flowers and new growth occurring.  During class we will use this theme to explore the musical concepts of High & Low, Slow & Fast, Steady Beat and Rhythm Patterns. The group dance Irish Trot is sure to bring many a smile and Jasmine Flower is a favourite scarf dance from Asia.   We will explore edible flowers to Blow Away the Morning Dew, play with drums while we listen and dance to Belfast Hornpipe and babies will delight in the long swinging movement of rocking in a hammock to Come My Little Darling.  Village At Home Materials include a CD of beautifully arranged songs & chants from class, a picture board book, 2 art banners and a baby-friendly instrument.

Class & Materials Cost: (Includes 8 x 45-minute classes and At Home Materials) $150.  Deposit of $80 due with enrolment, balance of payment due in week 3.  Ask me about the Earlybird special.

ABC Music & Me: Around the Farm – Short CourseAround the Farm

A 4-week unit for children aged 2-4 years and a parent/caregiver (Commencing Wednesday 4th November subject to numbers).

In class, your child’s memory and sequence skills will strengthen with stop-and-go games tucked into stories and pretend play about animals on a farm. You’ll find these stories and songs in your Home Kit, too. So when you play this month’s featured rhythm stick instruments along with the recordings, you help your child develop rhythm, coordination, and the confidence that comes with learning and playing along with you.
At Home Materials: Pair of Rhythm Sticks, Home CD, and magazine-style Family Guide (includes the class story Cows in the Kitchen).

Class & Materials Cost: (Includes 4 x 30 minute classes and At Home Materials) $55.00.
