I am very proud to announce that Music2Grow has been awarded Top Program status for the third year in a row. This award for excellence is the highest recognition awarded by Kindermusik International and recognises Music2Grow for exceptional service to our local community.

What began 16 years ago as a way for me to work whilst still being at home for my children has turned into a very rewarding business and my life’s passion. I am so very thankful for the wonderful Kindermusik families and inspiring educators I have met along the way (many of whom have also become lifelong friends) and feel very blessed to have a job that brings so much meaning to my life.

I love the warmth and community of our small-group classes and the way the Kindermusik curriculum supports parents as their child’s most important teacher. It is what drew me to the Kindermusik program in the first place – that and the professional quality of the materials and curriculum which blends the music-education philosophies of Carl Orff, Zoltan Kodaly and Shinichi Suzuki with the developmental research and pedagogical approaches of Lev Vygotsky, Jean Piaget and Maria Montessori.

It is my great privilege to be able to share the joy of music and learning with young families on the Sunshine Coast each week – to witness musical skills blossom and learning skills develop and to see life-long friendships form. There is nothing more satisfying for me than seeing babies dancing in their mother’s arms or bouncing and clapping to the beat; hearing a toddler sing in class for the first time or watching a preschooler play their first notes on the glockenspiel. I look forward to many more years continuing to do what I love.
